UK HEALERS
Bude Healing Clinic and its’ qualified Healers are registered with UK Healers via their membership of The Church of the Holy Spirit Research and Enlightenment Centre, which is listed on the register as ‘Research and Enlightenment Centre’.

UK Healers originated in 1999 as an informal gathering of Healing organisations that shared an interest in achieving common standards for the protection of the public. The name UK Healers was adopted in August 2001. UK Healers is working towards voluntary self-regulation for healers. The number of organisations involved has grown steadily. In October 2002, 35 separate organisations were represented in the work. Other organisations that have Spiritual Healer Members and share the group’s commitment to excellence are welcome to apply. UK Healers has made considerable efforts, not least through its periodic news bulletin: UK Healers Review, to ensure that healers throughout the UK have the opportunity to be kept aware by their organisations of the progress being made by UK Healers. It is important that UK Healers is sufficiently inclusive to have confidence that its conclusions on standards will both protect the public and reflect the views of the great majority of healers in the UK. UK Healers is a collaborative association of Spiritual Healing organisations that share a concern to protect the public and seek wide recognition for the standards of conduct and healing expected of these organisations’ members. The work of the UK Healers is supported by The Prince of Wales’s Foundation for Integrated Health.
