What is A.H.A. About?

The  Alliance of Healing Associations is a properly constituted charity that was originally formed in 1976 and finally acquired charity status in 1982.

AHA is an Umbrella Group of Healing Associations comprising of Accredited Healers and Healers under training.

All healer members are subject to the Codes of Conduct and the Complaints and Disciplinary Procedures which provide comprehensive rules and procedures for the practice of healing.

All members are fully insured by a policy which provides public and professional indemnity.

Healing is the beneficial effect that healers are believed to have on patients when, motivated by their own beliefs and following their normal practices, they administer healing through the hands or at a distance by thought (or prayer) transference.

The philosophy of our healing practice is non-denominational but with the acceptance that healing energies are directed by God or a divine source - the source to which our Healers seek to attune when giving their healing services. However, it is love for our fellow man and compassionate Healing Intention that motivates them in their desire to bring easement and relief from pain and suffering with an improved quality of life for all who seek their help.
